Today’s sponsor is Need Brands! We are focusing this post on their Milky! product, an herbal tea supplement for lactating moms!
About the company: I can’t tell the story any better than the founders of Needs brands can, so watch this video to hear Tia and Tamara explain it!

Tia and Tamara’s show, Sister Sister, was one of my favorite shows growing up, so a few years ago when I saw they were getting a new show, I was so excited.  I watched it every week and saw the idea and creation of Milky! grow from an idea to an actual real thing.  During that season, I was pregnant myself and often wondered if I was going to make enough milk to nourish my daughter and started looking up options on how to increase milk supply.  This is a common question many breastfeeding mothers have.  I’ve learned since then that it’s highly unlikely that a mother cannot product enough milk, however, there are mothers than have trouble and then there is a true NEED for products like Milky!  However, most lactation supplements simply taste awful and Milky! changes that.
Milky! is made with Fenugreek, Fennel, Ginger, Chamomile, and Rooibos.  Not only do these ingredients help increase milk supply, but helps with faster let down, tension, and upset stomach. The exact ingredients in Milky! are purified water, Organic Herbal Blend, Organic Cane Sugar, Citric Acid, Organic Strawberry Flavor, Potassium Sorbate & Sodium Benzoate (To Preserve Freshness) and Organic Stevia.  Milky! products should not be used while pregnant.
I opened a bottle of Milky! and expected a creamy, milky looking product (I guess that’s just my mind assuming things).  However, it looks much like tea.  The taste had a bit of a kick with a nice strawberry flavor. It was definitely better than the licorice flavor that most milk supplement products have that I’ve tried in the past. I love that this supplement is in a small on-the-go bottle, so I wouldn’t have to worry about brewing tea and making it.  Moms are already busy enough, especially, in the beginning, so anything that can help us in the time department is awesome.

I cannot specifically comment on how well it works to increase milk supply as I do not currently have a milk supply issue and I didn’t want to run the risk of becoming engorged.  You can read and view video testimonials on the website here.  If you are looking for how to increase breast milk supply I would definitely recommend this sweet herbal supplement.

Need brands has added a stretch mark treatment cream and are currently working on a moisturizer, lip balm, hand sanitizer, and nipple cream to their line of products!
